"Got a Chicken Shawarma for just £4. The taste was good, with a lot of customization and sauces available, filled with tahini and roasted later. Shawarma was crunchy and juicy, quite fulfilling for a meal. Service was quick, but very little seating available to dine in. Everything was made fresh from bread to chicken and sauce."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Proper neighbourhood gem - priced for locals, not tourists, and the value is insane. Worth driving out of the city centre. £14 whole rotisserie chicken meal with rice/salad/pickles + loads of sauces (tastes homemade). Lamb pide is stone-oven baked, packed with lamb - £2.50. I’m a Michelin-star trained head chef: this place is the real deal."

"The food at Taj Shawarma is very tasty – fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavor. What really impressed me, though, was the honesty of the staff. When I placed my order, I was initially charged the full amount. After I mentioned that I wouldn’t be using any sauces, the guy at the counter honestly told me he should refund £5 – money he could have easily kept without me noticing. I highly recommend this place not only for the delicious food, but also for the honest and professional staff."
